Here is the information for the trip to Ottawa:
Departure from montreal: Thursday AM
Transportation by car: there will not be a bus provided. Like last year’s team transportation to get there will be arranged using parents to drive to Ottawa (carpooling).
The competition is Friday/Saturday/Sunday. 3 games will be played on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday there will be minimum 1 game to a maximum of 3 games. Event will be finished by a maximum of 4pm but could be done as early as 9am on Sunday.
The 3 games on Friday and Saturday will take place either : AM wave (8am to 2pm) or PM wave (2pm to 8pm).
Hotel: for the event there are sponsor hotels and 3 choices are taken out of the list of 10-15 hotels. The organisation committee assigns to teams which hotel they will stay based on required rooms needed to the teams, special requirements etc. We have been confirmed the following hotel:

Breakfast is included everyday. Players will be 4 per room. If parents would like to come please let me (Grant and not Derrick) know and I can have a room (s) added at a discounted rate.
The club will cover the hotel expenses for 2 chaperone parents.
During the event we will need 2 people to follow the team and do score keeping/line judge. Each team must provide 2 volunteers to do line judge and score keeping for the game that the team will play on.
Ground transportation during the event will need to be with Derrick as well as the 2 chaperones.
Lastly for the price of 87$ per player a catering service can be provided. The same service that was provided last year. It is optional yet strongly recommended to use this service as there will not be time to go “to eat” at a restaurant during the playing times.
